Prep is simple – just blend the mix with a few fresh ingredients, then bake in a loaf pan. Serve the homemade bread warm from the oven with butter or cream cheese.

Preparation Instructions

Ingredients

• Quick bread mix (included)
• 4 Tbs. (1/2 stick/60g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
• 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk
• 1/2 cup (125 ml) sour cream
• 2 eggs

Directions

• Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
• Grease and flour 8" x 4" (10cm x 20cm) loaf pan.
• In large bowl, combine quick bread mix, butter, milk, sour cream and eggs. Stir until smooth and blended. Pour batter in prepared pan and spread evenly.
• Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, approx. 55–60 minutes.
• Transfer pan to wire rack and let cool for 10 minutes. Remove pan and turn loaf onto rack.
• Serve warm or at room temperature.
• Makes 10–12 servings.
