Detail
Fromage defines the culinary heritage of France, and every region offers unique specialties that reflect centuries of tradition. Handcrafted in northeastern Champagne, Pitou-Charentes in the midwest and Franche-Comté on the eastern border of Switzerland, the three types of cheese in this collection feature the distinctive flavors of the local terroir. Serve the cheese at happy hour or give it to your favorite foodie.

- Petit Grès Champenois: Made at a small dairy in Champagne, this award-winning cow's milk cheese is enriched with crème fraîche. It's matured for 14 days to produce an ultra-creamy interior with a delicate tartness and a white rind that's embellished with a fern leaf. (5.3 oz.)
- Chabichou: Beloved in France since the 16th century, this variety has an exceptionally velvety texture and the piquant tang of goat cheese. After 20 days of soft ripening, it emerges with a characteristic crinkly, tender rind and a creamy white center featuring a salty aroma. (5.3 oz.)
- Comté: Also known as Gruyère de Comté, this cow's milk cheese is warmed in copper pots and cellar aged. It has a silky, pale-yellow interior featuring nutty, milky flavor with subtle notes of herbs and roasted nuts. (8 oz.)
Receiving Instructions
- Cheese ships chilled with gel packs.
