Receiving Instructions
- Cake ships frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands.
- Upon receipt, remove boxed cake from shipping container and store in freezer for up to 6 months. Alternatively, remove plastic wrap from cake and store in box in refrigerator for up to 7 days or at room temperature for up to 2 days.
Preparation Instructions
- Cake is best enjoyed at room temperature.
- If frozen, remove plastic from cake and place bakery box in refrigerator to thaw overnight.
- Remove from refrigerator approx. 2 hours before serving to allow cake to come to room temperature.
- To serve, run large knife under hot water and dry with towel before each slice.
- Store leftover cake in airtight container in freezer for up to 6 months, in refrigerator for up to 7 days or at room temperature for up to 2 days.
- Powdered sugar (cane sugar, cornstarch), butter (pasteurized cream, natural flavorings), lemon curd (corn syrup, sugar, water, sweetened condensed milk [milk, skim milk, sugar], palm oil, modified food starch, lemon juice concentrate, citric acid, mono- and diglycerides, natural flavor, beta carotene [color], sodium metabisulfite), sour cream (cultured cream), sugar, flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), eggs, pasteurized egg yolk, contains 2% or less of baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate, cornstarch, monocalcium phosphate), baking soda, lemon oil, salt, yellow natural gel color (glycerin, beta carotene, water, cultured dextrose).
