A culinary classic, this slow-simmered blend is prepared for us in Italy, where artisans combine the gently sauteed mushrooms with savory vegetable broth, fresh dairy cream, mascarpone cheese and fragrant herbs, then puree the soup to create a luxurious texture. For the perfect mushroom bisque, just heat and serve. Round out your meal with a leafy green salad and crusty bread.

RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS

• Bisque ships fresh at ambient temperature.
• Store unopened at room temperature in cool, dark place for up to 24 months. Once opened, store in refrigerator and enjoy within 3 days.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

• In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the soup until hot.
• Ladle into bowls and serve hot with a drizzle of crème fraîche and a sprig of thyme, if desired.

• Vegetable broth, champignon mushrooms, cream, mascarpone cheese, butter, extra-virgin olive oil, corn flour, porcini mushrooms, garlic, xanthan gum, parsley, ground black pepper.
