Prep is simple – just add butter and an egg, spread the dough in a pan and bake. The cookie bars turn out crisp and golden outside, and rich and gooey inside. For an extra-special treat, serve them warm from the oven with vanilla ice cream.

RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS

• Mix ships fresh at ambient temperature.
• Upon receipt, store unopened at room temperature for up to 18 months.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

Ingredients

• 8 Tbs. (1 stick/125g) unsalted butter, melted
• 1 egg
• 1 package blondie mix (included)

Directions

• Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Lightly butter 8" (20cm) sq. baking dish or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
• In bowl, whisk together melted butter and egg until combined. Add blondie mix to bowl and stir until well-combined, using hands if necessary to thoroughly mix dough (dough will be fairly stiff). Press dough evenly into prepared baking dish.
• Bake until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, approx. 30 minutes. Do not overbake.
• Let cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting.

• Unbleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), brown sugar (cane sugar, cane syrups), granulated sugar, semisweet chocolate (sugar, unsweetened chocolate, cocoa butter, dextrose, sunflower lecithin), nonaluminum baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate, cornstarch, monocalcium phosphate), natural vanilla powder (maltodextrin, vanilla bean extractives), sea salt.
• Contains wheat/gluten.
• This product is prepared and packaged using machines that may come in contact with dairy, eggs, peanuts, wheat/gluten, soy, sesame, tree nuts (walnuts, almonds, pecans, coconut), mustard.
